The twice per month Illicit Drug Vehicle Inspection provides on-site evaluations performed by a trained illicit drug specialist to identify visible indicators of illicit drug activity. This service supports safety awareness and informed decision-making for recovered, stored, or previously occupied vehicles.

Twice per month on-site inspection
Visual assessment for paraphernalia, residues, powders, and related indicators
Hazard hunt and trash removal of observable debris related to drug activity
Reagent field screening for methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, and nitazenes — $195 per vehicle tested
Written findings letter
Vehicle inspection sticker indicating:
No further testing recommended
Vehicle contamination detected
Further testing recommended
Reagent testing is screening-only and does not provide laboratory confirmation. If indicators are observed or a reagent test is positive, additional confirmation testing may be recommended.
